Williams Dining Services’ annual “Recipes from Home” contest will begin on Monday, January 30th. It’s a great way for families to get involved with the college’s dining hall menu selections.

For the past 18 years, we have asked students and their families to submit their favorite recipe for a meat or vegetarian/vegan entrée, vegetable, starch, soup, salad dressing, bread, or dessert.

All submissions are then tested based on presentation, taste, texture, and the ability to adapt them to Williams’ large quantity and service requirements.  All selected recipes will be served in the dining halls on Thursday, April 26, 2012, when students will vote for their favorites.

The recipe deadline is Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Please send us one recipe via email at dining@williams.edu or via  snail-mail to:

The charge of $10/bed/night will show up on your term bill in early May. Seniors can make reservations by emailing Bea Miles by May 2.
